A Private Link for Every Field Worker

A foreman can share a private worker link so a field worker can see assigned tools without signing in.

Creating a field worker solves the first problem: the foreman can assign tools even when the worker has no phone number, email, or account. The next useful step is visibility for the worker.

Tools Tracker now supports a private worker link for a specific workspace. A namespace administrator can open the worker profile, copy the link, and send it by WhatsApp, SMS, or simply open it on any shared phone.

The link is not a simple user ID. It uses a long private token connected to the pair: worker and workspace. That means the page shows only the tools assigned to that worker inside that workspace.

For the field worker, the page is intentionally simple: name, workspace, current tools, photos, location, SKU, and status. No password, no app install, and no extra registration step.

For the foreman, this keeps accountability transparent. A worker can check what is currently assigned, while the company still keeps control of handovers and workspace access.
